Advisor-recommended NaviPlan is one of the featured applications in an Advisor.ca Special Report
In an overall effort to help Canadian
financial services firms get the most out of their
technology investments, Advisor.ca has issued a
Special Report that identifies how using the right
technology can make business more efficient, key
considerations for choosing financial planning
software, and reviews some of the most popular
applications on the market today.
Based on the recommendations of financial advisors, NaviPlan is among the financial planning software programs to be included in the review “Get with the program” by Kate McCaffery.
“The program is designed for use with wealth accumulating and affluent clients,” writes McCaffery of NaviPlan Standard. Among its many planning features, NaviPlan Standard “…highlights the advantages and disadvantages of different planning strategies, produces reports and presentations, and can be upgraded to NaviPlan Extended for detailed cash-flow-based analysis.”
To help advisors model more complex scenarios is NaviPlan Extended which, specifies McCaffery, “…allows cash-flow-based planning analysis and offers some support for small business planning and incorporated entities.”
Both programs enable advisors to create multiple scenarios that can be compared side-by-side both onscreen and in client-friendly reports.
