Rookie of the Year: NaviPlan Central
For breaking new ground and holding great promise for the future, EISI’s NaviPlan Central wins Joel Bruckenstein’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ award. This is the second time in three years that an EISI innovation has achieved Bruckenstein’s annual honor.
“NaviPlan Central is new, and it holds great promise,” says Bruckenstein. “That pretty much defines a rookie-of-the-year winner.”
Bruckenstein picks his favourite products of the year in The Best Technology of 2005, published at Morningstar.com. The technology awards are Bruckenstein’s way of highlighting a few of the outstanding products for advisors that he has reviewed in 2005.
“One of NaviPlan Central's greatest attractions is its scalability,” says Bruckenstein. “It works fine for small offices, and it can accommodate large firms, too.”
As noted by Bruckenstein, NaviPlan Central is relieving firms of the time, cost, and effort required to maintain an in-house solution. It is also delivering the compliance tools managers need, and the analysis tools advisors want.
“Management tools offer granular security controls, so administrators can decide exactly who in the organization gets to see what. Administrators can also control the complexity of tools the advisor can access, so novice advisors can be confined to basic tools, while experienced users can be given access to more sophisticated tools,” writes Bruckenstein.
