NaviPlan reinvented in 2005
The new look and feel of NaviPlan is improving the user experience.
Joel Bruckenstein’s The Technology Year in Review, published at Morningstar.com, highlights some of the big changes that happened to the NaviPlan product line in 2005.
Having debuted in March 2005, NaviPlan Central, an ASP, began opening new doors for the middle market: the small and mid-sized firms in need of a configurable, affordable financial planning platform.
Delivering all the technical advantages of a typical ASP, including anywhere access, a standard Web browser interface, automatic data backups, and the elimination of manual upgrades and maintenance, NaviPlan Central also introduced the market to the latest version of NaviPlan Standard software.
NaviPlan Standard was reinvented in 2005 with the introduction of EISI’s innovative, easy-to-use ‘levels of planning’ concept, which is enabling advisors to customize their clients’ plans on the fly.
Says Bruckenstein: “From a usability standpoint, the online version of NaviPlan Standard really impressed me… clearly the Web interface is more intuitive and user friendly than previous versions.”
