Effectively manage the transition to holistic wealth management

Dr. Mark Evans takes some time to discuss his company's latest financial planning platform innovation with Waters Magazine.

NaviPlan Central is EISI's new wealth management solution for small and mid-sized firms. It is a web-hosted service that delivers the company's acclaimed NaviPlan Standard Offline financial planning software and numerous other business resources.

"An ASP format," says Evans, "gives these companies a secure, cost-effective alternative to developing an in-house technology infrastructure… ASP format is often the most cost-effective way to get the benefits of an online environment."

For firms, NaviPlan Central delivers: workflow controls to guide advisors through the plan-approval process; management reports to monitor activity; centralized software updates to expedite the otherwise individual process, and stellar data back-up and protection services.

As for the advisors who use NaviPlan Standard Offline software to do financial planning, Evans says the impact of an ASP format on the planning process is largely with the data integration capabilities.

"We've partnered with clearing firms to import their accounts and holdings information directly into NaviPlan, which dramatically shortens the data-gathering and entry process for their clients."

Waters is a financial technology resource that is read by the individuals who purchase, specify, create, implement and use financial technology to grow revenues and/or reduce costs at securities firms, banks, and regulatory bodies. They use it as a tool to influence their due diligence process.
