How you can benefit from this alliance
Ibbotson Associates and EISI have partnered to seamlessly integrate key Ibbotson asset allocation components with Profiles and U.S. versions of NaviPlan . This partnership combines the expertise of two leading financial services vendors through one point of contact, resulting in seamless access by Profiles and NaviPlan users to Ibbotson's highly respected tools.
These Ibbotson asset allocation components are available in Profiles and NaviPlan software:
- Risk Tolerance Questionnaire and Scoring Model - Easily and accurately determines a client's risk tolerance and recommends an appropriate asset mix
- Model Portfolios - Assigns an asset mix for the overall plan or individual goals for each of the five risk levels
- Security Classifier - Evaluates a current or proposed portfolio of investments by classifying individual securities (including account type / number or ticker symbol) and then rolling them up into an overall asset mix
- Mean Variance Optimizer - Finds an optimal asset mix, and then compares with a client's current mix by looking at risk and return, or forecasts; allows advisors to control the asset class weightings of portfolios
