Duncan Smith

Chief Financial Officer

Duncan Smith joined EISI in January of 2005 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for finance, administration, and corporate strategic planning in order to support EISI's growth and increase the company's profitability.

With more than 20 years of business experience in a variety of industries, Duncan has spent more than half of that time at the executive level. The last six years of his career has been in the technology sector.

Some of the companies at which Duncan has been the CFO are: Architel Systems Corporation, the Americas operation of Thomas Cook Group, and AT&T Capital Canada. During Duncan 's tenure at Architel, he assisted with the process that led to the company's sale to Nortel Networks for $570 million.

Duncan achieved his Chartered Accounting designation while with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario ’s business school, where he achieved an Honours Business Administration, and of York University, where he completed his Masters of Business Administration.
